This dissertation is part of the stricto sensu postgraduate research in Teaching in an Intercultural Indigenous Context (PPGECII) at the Mato Grosso State University and focuses on the Indigenous Knowledge in Schools project. I chose to research the topic: Indigenous Knowledge Projects in Indigenous School Education by Leonardo Krixi Apiaká because it relates to my history within the village and the project at the Mayrob village school, where I completed my entire education. General objective: To analyze the materials (books) produced by the Indigenous Knowledge in Schools project, identifying what is still missing and our evaluation, and to produce other intercultural pedagogical materials for the learning of students in the early years. The research is conducted within the community with the participation and observation of elders, leaders, students, and teachers, describing the activities developed at the school and analyzing the materials already written by us within the project. Also, other materials are produced in collaboration with the students, mainly by the community council. The Indigenous Knowledge Project brought the people an important path to valuing and publishing the traditional knowledge of the Apiaká people, with the production of teaching materials, revitalization of words in the language and in the training of teachers and learning of students at the Leonardo Crixi Apiaká School.
