Haliti School Education. Teaching. Mother Tongue. Ceramics. Memory.
This work is part of the research line “Teaching and Languages in an Intercultural Context” of the professional master's degree program "Teaching in an Intercultural Indigenous Context - PPGECII/UNEMAT, Barra do Bugres-MT university campus. Its main objective is to use pedagogical practices and a multidisciplinary approach to recover oral knowledge about Haliti pottery from the memories of our elders. In addition, we want to reinforce the importance of schools as a means of cultural strengthening and recovery, using the ancient processes and knowledge of my Haliti-Paresi people about making clay pots as a reference. Furthermore, it aims to contribute to the historical processes of reviving memory and valuing culture in the school context, based on knowledge related to Haliti-Paresí pottery, a material and immaterial culture present in the memory of our elders. From a methodological point of view, it considers a multidisciplinary perspective, seeking to relate them to the different disciplines of basic education and, finally, indicates as an educational product the creation of a catalog as a pedagogical resource that is linked to the objectives and methodologies proposed by the research.
