Mostrar Abstract
-
With this dissertation we intend to address the work of the Mato Grosso native Ricardo Guilherme Dicke, using theorists who prioritized the Baroque in their propositions to create an aesthetic becoming of the Latin being, such as Affonso Ávila, Irlemar Chiampi, Lezama Lima and Alejo Carpentier. Configuring this as an avant-garde fictional universe with a Baroque texture, where literary ornamentation in dialogue with universal creations, makes the author's works an unprecedented prodigy within our state, drawing our support for this also on European authors who dialogue with literature and other arts, such as Walter Benjamin, Arnold Hauser, Helmult Hatzfeld and Heinrich Wölfin

Mostrar Abstract
-
In this dissertation, a critical and literary study was undertaken of the short stories Farol das almas, Alma, Doramar ou a odisseia and Meu Mar (fé), published in the anthology “Doramar ou a odisseia: Histórias” (2021), by Itamar Vieira Junior. From these narratives, we investigate the construction of black female characters, aiming to reflect on the status of the character and understanding them as memory-bodies in performance within fictional regimes in which violence is intersected. To this end, methodologically, we carried out a bibliographical study, theoretically mobilizing several concepts relating to Literary Studies, but also to other epistemic fields that contributed to the analysis of the selected corpus. Thus, we use the concepts of short story, from Bosi (1974), Cortázar (1974, 2006), Piglia (2004) and Poe (2004); intertextuality, mobilizing Samoyault (2008); memory, based on the assumptions of Ricoeur (2007); body and performance, according to the reflections of States (2001), Sarduy (1979) and Zumthor (1997, 2007); keeping in mind the ideas of resistance and colonization, we used the studies of Bosi (1992, 2002); to analyze the construction of black female characters and literary representations, we refer to Candido (1970, 2009) and Dalcastagnè (2007, 2012, 2014); to deal with the narrators, we relate Leite (2002) and Santiago (2002). Furthermore, we integrate the concepts of intersectionality, whiteness and black women through the studies of Akotirene (2019), Bento (2022), Carneiro (2011, 2019), Davis (2016), Gonzalez (1988, 2020), Lorde (2019 ) and Ribeiro (2018). In light of this, we argue that the discursive construction of the narratives analyzed presents a uniqueness characterized by the empowerment of an insurgent black female who narrates/acts "immersed in her own experience" (Santiago, 2002, p. 45), contesting representations present in the Brazilian literary tradition.

Mostrar Abstract
-
This research aims to analyze the configuration of homoeroticism in contemporary Brazilian romance, using as its corpus the work O amor dos Homens Avulsos (2016), by Victor Heringer. From this perspective, one can note, in the narrative architecture of the novel, the establishment of four regulatory instances for the structuring of homoeroticism in the work in question, namely: childhood, sex, loss and memory. In the landscape engendered by these topics, there is a narrative that presents the notions of despair, loneliness and, notably, guilt. However, the work, through references and references, addresses several diverse themes, such as religion, politics, philosophy and clearly weaves social criticism regarding human behavior. In this sense, the research will be developed based on detailed readings about the work selected as corpus, in addition to bibliographical investigation in the light of some theorists and critics, such as: Antonio Candido (1987), Ricardo Thomé (2009), Michel Foucault (1984), Oscar Tacca (1983), among others.

This research analyzes the representation of the body in its fragmentation, eroticism and transience, presented in the novel A Céu Aberto (1996), by João Gilberto Noll, understanding the way in which the narrator establishes the relationship with the social context in which the characters are inserted. It is noted, in this sense, that the Nollian text seems to demarcate a complex and bifurcated territory regarding the homoerotic archeology present in the narrative course of the characters, having as its basic premise the body in transfiguration and itinerancy. In this context, in addition to the analysis of the work in question, an overview is also made of the textualization of eroticism in contemporary Brazilian literature, as well as other works by João Gilberto Noll. We mainly use, as a theoretical basis, the studies of BATAILLE (1987), BARTHES (2003), GARCIA (2004), DUMOULIÉ (2005) and BRANDÃO (2019).

The study presented was developed from the perspective of approaching the short story as a literary genre, presented as a means of supplying the individual's own understanding, combined with dynamic reading, encouraging critical thinking arising from the analysis of the historical context present behind the narrative. The research is affiliated with the Master's program in Literary Studies at UNEMAT, associated with the Reading, Literature and Teaching research line. In view of this, the proposal corroborates the reader's training process, in which the teaching mediator must provide practices that include such action. Therefore, this work targets literature teachers, with the purpose of contributing to their teaching practice. Based on the materiality of Marta Cocco's writing in the work “Não presta pra nada” (2016), the research refers to the importance of gender in the process of reader formation and analyzes social behavior in relation to the historical silencing of women, as well as, This seeks to change the reality in which it operates. In order to contemplate the proposed objectives, as a work methodology, the aesthetics of reception defended by Jauss (1967) was used as a theoretical subsidy, based on studies, among others, by Proença Filho (1996), Paulo Freire (1996 ), Bordini & Aguiar, (1989), Candido (2004), Regina Zilberman (2015), Bosi (2015), as well as a reference on female protagonism in the view of Bourdieu (2005), Figueiredo (2020) Walker (2015), Wolf (1985), Coelho (1993), Beauvoir (2023) Butler (2021), Nadaf (2004), Soares (2014), Kristeva (1989) among others. Considering the relevance of these authors' approach to their theories, this work gains relevance as it contributes to studies related to the reader's formation process and their awareness, through narratives, of female silencing in the face of the patriarchal society portrayed in the literatures, more specifically, in the four chosen stories. The choice of the research object was made a priori, due to the fact that the work was written by a woman, as well as the focus of highlighting women in the process of female authorship contributing to the professional training of the educator. In the introductory part we discuss literature as an art of expression, combined with the debate about the position of women in patriarchal society. In chapter I, we address the aesthetics of reception and the importance of the educator encouraging the reflective reader and literary reading for pleasure, in addition to promoting literary discourse and the interpretative conditions that are in the text for subsequent textual analysis. In chapter II, we historically address the process of inclusion and acceptance of female authorship by patriarchal society, as well as the challenges of constructing writing that gives voice and 'denounces' the situation of women in the social space. And finally, in chapter III, we discuss the short story and its characteristics, intertwined with the analyzes of the short stories “Cinco Marias”, “Gente de Quem?”, “Roupa Suja” and “Chuva Benta” based on the theories discussed in the chapters previous ones. The work was chosen because it is a book written by a woman, in addition to dealing with the short story genre and addressing different aspects in each story that the author brings, and at the same time having a common thread that is the woman in her multifaceted form. before society. Furthermore, the work awakens the reader to the fundamental role of literature, which is to establish reflections on the world in which we live. In the end, we have work that will contribute to the fight for equality, representation and the voice of women in Literature.

Mostrar Abstract
-
This dissertation examines the relationships between virility, power, and narrative aesthetics in José Eduardo Agualusa's novel 'A Rainha Ginga', focusing on the theme of the virilization of the feminine gender. The general objective is to explore how literature, through Agualusa's work, offers a historical interpretation of gender and power relations. The adopted methodology is an exploratory qualitative literature review, using detailed literary analyses and historical contextualizations to deepen the understanding of the work. 'A Rainha Ginga' goes beyond a simple novel, acting as a narrative that challenges gender norms and encourages reflection on female virility in a historical and literary context. This study highlights Agualusa's ability to recreate the historical figure of Queen Ginga, transforming her into an eternal symbol of struggle for dignity and freedom. Through his narrative, Agualusa not only reveres the past but also challenges the prevailing historical narrative, promoting a renewed understanding of women's role in the spectrum of power. This work interweaves history, literature, and memory, enriching contemporary Angolan literature and providing significant contributions to the global study of gender, empowerment, and Afrocentrism. Thus, 'A Rainha Ginga' is an essential vehicle for the discussion of gender, power, and identity, demonstrating the power of literature in understanding and reinterpreting history.

Mostrar Abstract
-
This research carries out an analytical-literary study of the contemporary Brazilian novel "Torto Arado" (2019), by Itamar Vieira Junior, taking as its trunk the theory of Antonio Candido (2006), on the conception that the relationship between literature and society contributes to the general economy of the text. The analyzes cover, through the memorialistic discourse orchestrated by three female voices, the representation of the black female body in the process of being subalternized, translating memory as a guiding thread in the formal structure and content of the novel. In the domains relating to the Feminine and Memory, we perceive, in "Torto Arado", the body as a central element of the novel, especially due to the connection established between memory, the land and the act of narrating. In this sense, the feminine is organized in the text through symbolic and physical elements that solidify its presence in the development of the narrative. That said, to diagnose the relationships established between the representation of the female body and its implications, we used, as a theoretical contribution, the theories of Ricoeur (2007), Bourdieu (2020), Le Breton (2016) and Zumthor (2007), primarily.

-
This research aims to study the elements of the grotesque present in short stories from the book Resumo da Ópera, from the collection Contos Estranhos, by Eduardo Mahon. It can be seen that these elements are used in the construction of the characters and the plot, and that they suggest representing a social criticism and customs in these short narratives. Thus, taking into account the genre in which the analyzed narratives are inserted, we resort to the theory of the short story with Poe (1985), Cortázar (1993) and Piglia (2004), seeking an understanding in relation to the construction of the short stories. In addition, it is intended to ascertain what theory about the grotesque that Mahon joins and the effect it has on the structure of the text. To this end, with the support of theorists Kayser (1986) and Bakhtin (2010), a study is made of the phenomenon, the historical context, its origin and perspectives and its place in art, especially in literature. We still rely on Ginzburg (2008) and Moraes (2017) for a better understanding of surrealism and the deformation of the body perceived in the narratives. Finally, we present, with the help of Roas (2014), the differences between the unusual and the grotesque, for better delimitation of the work.

The editorials of Revista LiteráriaPixé – a periodical based in Cuiabá-MT and which between March 2019 and May 2023 had a total of fifty-three editions published, which are divided into thirty-six regular editions and seventeen special editions – articulate, in almost all its editions, knowledge related to literary studies, in order to exercise a criticism that, due to its characteristics, resembles the essay. That said, this research has as its corpus the editorials of Revista Pixé, demonstrating how they are the result of a hybridization of the editorial genre with the essayistic form and with contemporary literary criticism. As a result, we classify such texts as editorials of critical expression. The first chapter of the dissertation is dedicated to the presentation and brief considerations about some journals published in Mato Grosso from the twentieth century until we reach Revista Literária Pixé, including some journals that emerged while Pixé was in activity and, subsequently, we address some characteristics of it. In the second chapter, we dedicate ourselves to the definition of the editorial genre, based on the Bakhtinian conception of discourse genres. In the third, supported by Theodor W. Adorno's conception of the essay, in the text “The essay as form”, we present the similarities of Pixé's editorials with his conception of the essayistic form. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the cataloging of the thematic axes that we identified throughout the reading of the editorials and to the discussion of four axes in particular, namely: Literary Criticism, Writers, Contemporary Literature and Literature, demonstrating how the axes overlap and complement each other, also investigating, in the relationship that is established between them, some resources that the editorialist uses, such as irony, colloquial language, humor, etc.

Mostrar Abstract
-
This work aims to analyze the work entitled Os (des)ajustes da Palavra, published in 2019 by the poet Márcia Dias. In this sense, by observing some elements that stand out in her language, we identify subjectivity and the construction of the modern female subject. In view of these aspects, we will present a certain temporal linearity of how the work becomes an expression of the growth and development of a lyrical self that oscillates between the coming and going of childhood to the creation of an imagistic maturity. In order to do this, we draw on concepts that promote a brief reflection, based on the considerations of Harold Bloom (1995) and Roberto Reis (1992) on the literary canon, the theoretical conceptions of Hugo Friedrich (1991) and Octávio Paz (1984), as well as the contributions of Maurice Merleau-Ponty (2011) and Gaston Bachelard (2009) on memory in the act of perception and reverie. And Georges Bataille's theoretical contribution on expressions of sensuality, lightness and feminine desires. The aim is to highlight the value and importance of female authorship, specifically in Rondônia.

Currently, promoting interest in reading literary books among elementary school students is a widely discussed topic at scientific events related to education. In this context, the role of the teacher as a mediator in the development of students' critical and literate capacity is fundamental. Official documents assign the school institution the responsibility for cultivating this skill in students. Therefore, this research has the general objective of analyzing how the process of choosing literary books used by teachers in the 6th year of Elementary School II occurs, as well as the effects of these choices on the formation of students as critical and literate literary readers. The specific focus of this research is children's literature, an essential component in elementary education. The research proposes several relevant questions for investigation: What is the meaning of literature in the context of elementary education and its role in the educational process? What are the procedures adopted by teachers for teaching literature? What are the different methodologies that teachers can employ to mediate the reading process and which of them are being used? To answer these questions, the research adopted an ethnographic approach, carrying out a case study with three Portuguese language teachers from the 6th year of Elementary School at a school in the State Education network in Juína-MT, with the aim of promoting interaction direct relationship between the researcher and study participants. A bibliographic survey was also carried out with the authors Zilberman (2009), Cosson (2020), Barthes (2004), Candido (2000), Arroyo (1988), among others, to provide theoretical basis for carrying out field research . The practical research took place through analysis of the literary choices made by Portuguese teachers and a semi-structured questionnaire, in which participants answered questions about literary choices, the selection criteria to be worked on in class, as well as their academic and professional trajectory. In summary, this study contributes significantly to the area of studies on teaching practice and the training of critical and literate readers in the context of elementary school II. Furthermore, by focusing on children's literature and associated pedagogical practices, this research can offer valuable insights into how to improve the teaching of literature in schools.

The present work aims to qualitatively analyze the Mato Grosso magazine Pixé, in order to
point out the use of the literary journalism genre in it. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical survey of the understanding of what literature, journalism and literary journalism is is necessary, since the last option causes surprise and strangeness to people who always think of journalism through the stereotype of something only relating to immediacy and objectivity. Therefore, the importance of studying the literature used in journalism was highlighted. A bibliographical survey of the history of literature and journalism will also be carried out in order to facilitate the understanding of the question: what is literary journalism. In addition, of course, to the history of Pixé Magazine. The Bardin Content Analysis process was chosen as a methodology due to its scientific rigor in obtaining objective answers to subjective questions. The method is divided into three stages that facilitate and provide a better reach of results, namely: pre-analysis; exploration of the material and treatment of results; inference and interpretation. At the end of this dissertation, it is expected that the material produced will be a source.

Awakening a love of reading in students is a constant concern in education. If Literature plays a fundamental role in the cognitive and emotional development of children, reading literary texts must be something of essential importance in school practice. In this sense, it is necessary to understand how Literature is used in the training of readers, cultivating different aspects and addressing some stylistic resources specific to the literary text. The work "What story is this?" by Flávio de Souza, due to its characteristics, can be understood as an important object for research that aims to examine issues like these. In this context, this study aims to point out the importance of literary reading in the training of student readers, using the aforementioned work as a reference to awaken interest and a taste for reading. The work is an example of how creativity in reinventing popular, wonderful or fairy tales can encourage a love of reading. Thus, the research also aims to discuss the importance of the participation of the teacher, family and society in the formation of competent readers who are passionate about literature. The study will follow a qualitative approach, and, in addition to bibliographical research, will consist of work with students in the 3rd Year of Elementary School I at Escola Municipal Cora Coralina and will be supported by the methodology proposed by Cosson (2009). We support our studies in Bakhtin (1997), Bamberger (1995), Bettelheim (1980), Coelho (2000), Candido (2012), Zilberman (2009), among other writers, for offering us important subsidies for the our investigation. The results indicate that, based on the analyzed corpus, students demonstrated significant progress in their understanding of literary texts, revealing to them that it is possible to read literary works without fear and that they are capable of following their own paths as critical, reflective readers. and passionate about literature.

The present work aims to demonstrate the potential contact of literary art with society and its ability to assimilate and even modify the various cultural traditions. Although, we know that the novelistic narrative does not necessarily stick to addressing the real world. It has the ability to deal with real perceptions, entering meanings, articulating meanings and values that govern the various relationships between individuals in a society, of a certain historical, ideological and political time. Consequently, this artistic space is also a space of power dispute and/or representation. And, it is in this field that we dialogue from the novel Macunaíma (1928) by Mário de Andrade, one of the most iconic and striking works of the so-called Brazilian Modernist Era. Seeking to perceive the contribution and the representative impact on human relations inside and outside the literary universe. From the image of the black Brazilian population constituted in modern aesthetics, in the decade of its birth in Brazil, as well as to analyze its reflection for contemporary society and culture and its amalgamation with cultural heritage. As a theoretical subsidy for this investigation, we will use the works of Afrânio Coutinho (1968; 1977; 2004), Alfredo Bosi (1966; 1992), Antônio Cândido (1992; 2014; 2017), Renato Ortiz (2005), Walter Benjamin (1987) and Zilá Bernd (1992), among others.

This research discusses the formation of literary identity in indigenous and non-indigenous works of Mato Grosso expression as well as the reception of such narratives. The corpus is made up of A fábula do Quase Frito, by Ivens Scaff (1997), Irakisu: o menino criador, by Renê Kithãulu (2002) and Tikare: alma-de-gato, by Alexandre Rolim (2017) in which we observe the relationships between memory and identity. In this sense, internal and external aspects of the proposed works are analyzed, highlighting the possible marks that make up literary identity, that is, the convergent/divergent aspects and voices regarding historical and cultural memory in the selected works. We also discuss, in this work, the (re)construction/(re)signification of individual and collective memories experienced, boosting the identity representations present in the speeches of the narrators and characters of the works. To this end, a bibliographical research was carried out in which textual elements linked to individual and collective identity, otherness, stereotype and identity denial are discussed based on propositions, among others. Our theoretical scope relies on Antonio Candido's (1972) considerations about the importance and necessity of literature for human beings. Among the many authors who talk about identity, we draw on authors such as Heidegger (2005, 2018), Zigmunt Bauman (2005) and Stuart Hall (2003) about the concepts relating to the construction of individual and collective identity, Angela Prysthon (2003 ) and Silviano Santiago (2019) on decoloniality and destabilization of Eurocentrism in literature, Mikhail Bakhtin (2014), Salvatore D'Onófrio (2007) Umberto Eco (1994, 2015) and Massaud Moisés (2012) on the way in which materialities are constituted. We also made use of field research at the State School Dona Rosa Frigger Piovezan – Comodoro/MT, in the year 2022, regarding the reception of the works by the youth public and “if” and/or “how” these readings broaden the horizon of expectations of the reader, whether they meet the need for fiction and fantasy proposed by Antonio Candido (1972), in addition to observing whether/how reading and reception of materialities enable or influence the young reader's literary literacy, that is, whether the reader-student abstracts the work as a parameter for their own literary productions.

This thesis studies the poems of contemporary Portuguese-language writers Lucinda Persona, Brazilian literature produced in Mato Grosso and Conceição Lima, and African literature from São Tomé and Príncipe. The research is mobilized due to the perception of a latent set of images that is generated from the figure of the house, an insistent topic in the verses of both poets. A finding that drives us to understand the persistent purpose in erecting and sublimating the image of the house in the poetic universe of the writers, as a source of values, experiences, reflections and meanings in their poetry. Therefore, we understand it is necessary to highlight the different perspectives that this element systematizes as the poetic in the poets' literary writing. We selected as corpus the books published until the beginning of the research by the poets, to be cited by Lucinda Persona – Por Imenso Gosto (2018), Ser Cotidiano (1998), Sopa Escaldante (2001), Leito de Acaso (2004), Tempo Comum (2009 ), Between One Night and Another (2014), The Step of the Instant (2019); Conceição Lima with the works O Útero da Casa (2004), A Dolorosa Raiz do Micondó (2012), O País de Akendenguê (2011). In this comparative study in which the house appears as a locus where other motivations that make up the writers' poetry are articulated, each with their own written diction, we investigate the set of poems, under the hypothesis that the fundamental house to be erected is writing itself. . As theoretical support for the analysis, we resort to the contributions of Gaston Bachelard (1978), Heidegger (2012), Merleau-Ponty (1999), Ricoeur (2000), Glissant (2021), Hall (2006), Brandão (2002) , Bosi (1977), Melo e Castro (1973), Collot (2013), Mata (2006), among other critics who collaborated in deepening the discussions.

This thesis investigates the in-between place of the African subject, based on the analysis of the novels O Senhor das Ilhas (1994), by Maria Isabel Barreno, and O seventh jury (2000), by Paulina Chiziane. The study focuses on identity conflicts and non-belonging resulting from the Westernization of the subject, aiming to understand the construction of this in-between in the process of Portuguese colonization, taking as space (background) the countries of Cape Verde and Mozambique, in movements of immanence and transcendence that, in the literature/society confrontation, allows the counterpoint between fiction and official history. In the investigation, it will be necessary to understand the process of the African diaspora and European immigration, divergent movements, but which contributed, whether positively or negatively, to the colonization of new lands, which gave rise to different forms of belonging and/or non-belonging. Given the above, it becomes necessary to move through the concepts of imaginary borders, deterritorialization, subjects in transit, cultural and religious contradiction, place of discourse. The following theorists and critics will be taken as a theoretical contribution: Bhabha (1998), Said (2011), Santiago (2000), Fanon (1968), Hall (2016), among others

This study examines literature reader training in a school environment, considering the contemporary context affected by the excess of information and by the diversity of media that often inhibit the reader’s critical and creative capacity. Promoting the literary reading on the school floor requires the promotion of actions that support the proficiency and broaden the horizons of expectations. This research broadens the debate about the profile of the reader in contemporary times by investigating the factors that outline this characterization. In this thesis, a theoretical framework that surrounds concepts related to the reader, reading, reader training, and literature emerges, as well as the fusion of these concepts with literary reading experiences lived by elementary and high school students. The analysis adopts a qualitative approach, based on the reception method, with confluent actions of bibliographic review, production of criticism, literary analysis, and selection of concepts. During the study, the actions experienced on the school floor include the analysis of the books Bisa Bia, Bisa Bel and Tropical Sol da Liberdade, both by Ana Maria Machado, followed by the evaluation of the reception of these books by the students. The dialogue with several authors is crucial to support the discussions, including the contributions of Jauss (1994), with the “Reception Aesthetics”, the reflections of Bordini and Aguiar (1998), about the “Reception Method”, the considerations of Iser (1996), Eco (2013) and his reflections on the text blanks and, the considerations and criticism of Candido (1972), regarding the role of literature in the humanization of human being. Among other authors who discuss the importance of literature in the reader training, valuable are the contributions of Flory (2010), Lima (2002), Regina Zilbermann (1989) and Marisa Lajolo (1993). Contiguous to theoretical research, field research takes place with the intention of observing, although in a rudimentary way, the students’ engagement with literature, and verifying a possible emancipation of the individual through reading.

This paper presents a study on literary literacy, with a focus on teaching Afro-Brazilian literature in elementary education, using the short stories from Conceição Evaristo's "Olhos D’água" as a foundation for contextualizing the theme of Black acceptance in society. Our research aims to demonstrate the functioning of literary literacy within the context of Afro-Brazilian literature. We employed methodologies such as Jauss's (1967) Aesthetic of Reception, Solé's (1998) Reading Strategies, Thiolent's (1986) action research, and Rildo Cosson's (2021) Basic Sequence. The analysis of results follows Bardin's (2002) principles of Content Analysis. In doing so, we present the experiences observed in the classroom and the students' learning outcomes. Our goal is to promote increased dialogue, the exchange of thoughts, information, and experiences between teachers and students in the final years of elementary education. We strive for a deeper integration of literary reading with a curriculum focused on Afro-Brazilian literature, achieved through the reading of texts addressing issues related to race, gender, color, prejudice, and social inequality. This approach aims to encourage critical thinking among students. Afro-Brazilian literature plays a pivotal role in acknowledging the uniqueness of this literary production, giving voice to Afro-descendants, and addressing profound social issues. This contribution significantly enhances our understanding of Brazilian literature and aids in building a more inclusive and just society. The development of literary readers not only nurtures a love for reading within the classroom but also provides avenues for personal expression and self-affirmation beyond it. Simultaneously, reading becomes a vital space for reflection, inquiry, and the strengthening of Brazilian identities.

-Reading Hilda Hilst's prose is to dive into a labyrinth of narratives that meet and merge, that distance themselves and get lost, but also come back together. In this movement, everything is flux and becoming. There is no center. Hilst's prose is multiple, calling us to contemplate the architecture of the labyrinthine spiral. We name excess as the guiding thread of this movement in Hilda Hilst's work, especially in FluxoFloema, A obscena senhora D e O caderno rosa de Lori Lamby. Wrapped within these narratives is the representation of excess, the driving axis and guiding thread of the research. A notion that belongs to both the domain of philosophy and literature, we perceive that excess still lacks a precise definition, "assuming less a specific content than a symbolic operation" (MORAES, 2023). In this work, we venture into the singular territories of creation, exploring a poetic and transgressive language, understanding and acknowledging excess as an unrestrained and untamed force. It is within the chaos, in the abyss, that the narratives of Fluxo-Floema, A obscena senhora D e O caderno rosa de Lori Lamby - in an incessant quest to probe the abysses of emptiness. In these works, the question persists about the potency of the unknown within the void itself. The study becomes relevant as it confers upon the examination of the works an analytical posture that seeks to see the manifestation of excess as an aesthetic value and a pivotal element in Hilda Hilst's writing.
