RESUMO:

 

Indigenous knowledge, in its interconnections with the Munduruku world of life, constitutes the guiding thread of this dissertation. That being said, the overall objective of the research is to value the Munduruku indigenous knowledge expressed through the voices and teachings of the elders, founded on an epistemic praxis of an intercultural and decolonial nature, with a view to raising awareness among students at the Krixi Barampô Indigenous State School, regarding the mythological and sacred dimensions of the traditional way of life of the Munduruku people. Thus, the problematizing question is imposed, printed with the following content: to what extent is the traditional knowledge of the Munduruku people taken into account within formal and non-formal educational institutions? Given that indigenous knowledge is grounded in an intercultural, decolonial, and emancipatory perspective, and sought to methodologically ground the analysis of this qualitative research in an ethnographic approach, which by its nature facilitates a qualitative and interpretative perspective by enabling the description of fundamental aspects of a sociocultural tradition in terms of its way of being, seeing, and living well. The field research is based on the narratives of the Munduruku Indigenous Consultants. This results in an analysis that seeks to value the indigenous knowledge applied in terms of the life-world of the Munduruku people, that is, in all kinds of issues imprinted in daily practices. Strictly speaking, the Educational Product consists of the production of the Pedagogical Notebook containing 4 narratives from our Munduruku Indigenous Consultants, which recount our mythological and sacred origin story, our customs, eating habits, our unique way of teaching, among other dimensions.
