RESUMO:

The dilemma about the need to use technology and communication in the field of education has been one of the most discussed topics within the academy. Whether about its instrumentalization in the teaching and learning process or its technical and cultural impact on the formation of socially shared knowledge taking into account formal and non-formal teaching, its importance is undeniable at this time of time. Even greater for those children who came to school age and came across pandemic chaos. This process will become increasingly noticeable when returning to face -to -face classes. To know which changes were these and trying to understand these issues, scientific investigation is necessary.
In this sense, what are the changes in the imaginary about education, thanks to the hegemonic technological imperative that emerged due to the covid-19 pandemic, according to the look of elementary school students, who experienced remote teaching in pandemic? How do your sensitivities, creativity and representations about the world are now configured? To try to answer these questions, it proposes a sedimated look by interdisciplinary referents of the fields of communication and education, having as North the Waldorf Pedagogy, intertwining the importance of “doing”, contact with the objective world, art in the critical development of children. The main objective of this research is to understand the imaginary about pandemic and education, according to the look of elementary school students. Phenomenological of Maurice Merleau-Ponty. The notion of imaginary will be worked from Maffesoli. Thought on communication, cognition and education will be sewn from McLuhan and dismay. It is an empirical, qualitative research. The subjects were elementary school students, from third year to, from a school, in the city of Tangará da Serra, in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. As a data collection technique will be instrumentalized the conversation wheels technique with the support of the art technique as a method.
