RESUMO:

In compliance with the requirements of Profhistória-UNEMAT, as a requirement for participation in the qualification exam board, this text is part of the master's thesis entitled HERITAGE EDUCATION: THE REAL FORTE PRINCIPE OF BEIRA AS A POSSIBILITY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF HISTORICAL KNOWLEDGE, we propose to develop study about the possible relationships between History Teaching and Heritage Education through field classes to be carried out with high school students, covered by the History of Rondônia discipline, at the Escola Estadual em Tempo Integral Juscelino Kubitscheck de Oliveira – Alta Floresta D 'West - RO, having as a place of memories the ruins of the old fort Real Forte Príncipe da Beira, located in the municipality of Costa Marques – RO, 713 km from Porto Velho, located on the right bank of the Guaporé river, and about 330 km from Alta Floresta D'Oeste. From the articulation between History Teaching, Heritage Education, the field of Local History and field classes, the aim is to grasp the possible potentialities of the production of historical knowledge of Basic Education students, having them as protagonists of the learning process. , encouraging an active learning stance, seeking to form subjects aware of their historicity. In this sense, we have as a proposal for pedagogical material, the development of a Field Class Guide for History Teaching, based on the conception of Local History.
