RESUMO:

This dissertation is the product of research carried out in the Professional Master's Degree in History Teaching (ProfHistória) at the State University of Mato Grosso/UNEMAT, Cáceres campus. The study is part of the Research Line “Historical knowledge in the school space”. The dissertation aims to analyze the presence of the history of black women and the meanings attributed in the history content of the High School Human Sciences Collections, considering the context of educational policies, such as Law 10.639/03, the National Common Curricular Base and the New Teaching Reform. By proposing this research within the New High School teaching material, we understand that all this dialogue is inserted in a historical and political context after 2016, during the Michel Temer government. From this, we understand that teaching the history of black women as subjects and an integral part of history is fundamental to recognizing the plurality of experiences and the complexity of our society. As a theoretical framework, we use decolonial and intersectional perspectives based on a more inclusive and representative approach to History Teaching, using the concepts of Coloniality of power, Racialization of people, Intersectionality and Coloniality of gender from authors such as Akotirene (2019), Crenshaw (2001 ), Quijano (2005) and Lugones (2014). The methodology chosen based on the qualitative approach based on Bogdan, Biklen (1997), Lüdke; André (2018), Triviños (1987), Chizotti (2000) and Content Analysis by Bardin (1977) for data analysis. We understand that black women were subjected to being represented by the writing of history in a way subordinated to the Eurocentric and ethnocentric perspective of history, resulting in a true epistemicide both in the history of women and in the history of the black population.
