RESUMO:

In this qualification text we present partial results of the research directed to problematize and analyze the pedagogical practices and the school conceptions of/with visual impaired students in Elementary I, with discussions related to school inclusion and the actions of the teacher. In this direction, we focus the research on/about the educational practices that are and can enhance the learning protagonism of these students, considering the context of school inclusion and the pedagogical dimensions of special education. We developed this study in a municipal school in Sinop, Mato Grosso (MT). As a methodological option we chose the case study in a qualitative approach, in the theoretical composition we seek to relate our research proposal to the subject of transcendence of Freire (1979), the subject of potentialities, according to Vygotsky (2011), the proposal of a society that seeks to respect diversity and takes into account human rights and the rights of nature (ACOSTA, 2016), among other authors who contribute to the understanding of the student as a protagonist subject in the process of teaching and learning. From the steps developed during this investigative process we observed that in the field of education the inclusive educational practices happen in a limited way, with differentiated methodologies by some teachers, being the Specialized Educational Attendance (AEE) this proposal clearer. We understand that different external factors, such as social, political, economic, cultural and historical, influence the context of inclusive education. Thus, from the research, still, the proposal of the educational product is directed to the production of a pedagogical notebook for teachers, briefly prioritizing a theoretical discussion about the student with visual impairment as a protagonist in the teaching and learning process and with suggestions for activities that can be developed with such public, based on the perspective of the students participating in the research.
