Water is an essential natural resource, used in the most diverse daily activities, but its quality available for human consumption is limited and has been constantly deteriorating, mainly due to anthropic actions. This water problem must be worked on both in formal and non-formal teaching spaces, as it is a transversal theme, linked to the environment, encompassing the issue of sustainable consumption. To approach this theme, the present work aims to create an educational game “H2O Calcule” as a product, which consists of a teaching strategy on the problem of water resources in elementary school in which it proposes individual and collective initiative to solve environmental problems with based on the analysis of conscious consumption and sustainability actions, so that in order to advance in the game's phases, the user needs to answer a quiz that asks about actions that promote greater water savings in daily actions in human activities. It can be used in the classroom as an instrument for developing the skill (EF09CI13) proposed by the BNCC for elementary school. As a result, it is expected that students can be trained to develop conscious and sustainable consumption, for an education in water resources and understanding of water and environmental issues.
