RESUMO:

There is a gap in the systematic knowledge of the groundwater situation in Brazil that does not allow the identification and delimitation of the extent of the problems that affect aquifers and their users. And few Brazilian states have mechanisms to systematize, store and mainly disseminate data on the licensing and granting of groundwater, which makes it difficult to organize and produce information to assist in the definition of strategies for the implementation of technical and legal instruments of respective water resource management policies. From surveys on the management of the grant in the Brazilian states, it was possible to verify how the application for grants in the states is being made. This research proposed to elaborate the prototype of a digital and online management system that can be used as a management tool by public agencies, through the access to a set of information about the legality of underground wells submitted to the environmental licensing of the State of Mato Grosso . For elaboration, data from wells registered, authorized and granted in the State, provided by the Superintendency of Water Resources of the State Secretariat for the Environment of Mato Grosso, were standardized and inserted into a public data interface in the form of interactive maps, accessible via internet browser. Based on the available data, a web platform was obtained with a dynamic map containing the free access spatialized information. The spatial publication of data on underground water resources is a trend in the modernization of management and, together with a collaborative repository, it serves as an information tool for public, private, organizations and the community.
