RESUMO:

The process of colonization of the lands of Mato Grosso interdiscursively recalls the memory of the exploitation of the forests, the domination of the white man and the Catholic Church. In this way, this research is part of a socio-historical-ideological event by observing its object of study, the discourse, in the midst of the functioning of the conditions of production in the migratory journey to the dreamed of earthly paradise, Sinop, and the effects of the silencing of the women settlers along the way. Therefore, the object of this research is the migrant women who worked in rural production in the municipality of Sinop between 1972 and 1979, a period crossed by the imaginary of possible family enrichment. In this sense, using analysis materials such as books, photographs, maps, newspapers and websites, the aim is to mobilize the theory of French Discourse Analysis, based on the theoretical-methodological assumptions of Michel Pêcheux, Jean-Jaques Courtine, Eni Puccinelli Orlandi, Freda Indursky and Maria do Rosario Gregolin. The corpus will consist of eight interviews conducted with women who lived through this historical period, materializing in language through the collection, transcription and identification of discursive sequences. This method allows us to observe and understand how the concepts of silence, memory, discursive formation, interdiscourse, intradiscourse, ideology, subject-position, and history are displaced and (re)signified in the discourse of man as provider and pioneer, through the narrative of the city's successful economic development. It also analyzes the predominance of the image of women as mothers, wives, daughters, followers of religious dogmas and pillars of the traditional family, like the figure of the colonizer Nilza de Oliveira Pipino, and not as workers, protagonists of their own trajectory in the capitalist scenario.
