RESUMO:

This research intends to carry out a critical reading of the works of Ricardo Guilherme Dicke, especially Toada do Esquecido & Sinfonia Equestre (2006), Madona dos Páramos (1981), Rio Abaixo dos Vaqueiros (2000), Cerimônias do Sertão (2011a) O Velho Moço e outros contos (2011b), A proximidade do Mar & Ilha (2011c), Os Semelhantes (2011d) and with the aim of reflecting on loneliness as an experience in the aesthetic construction of the selected works, using it as a means to draw a parallel with the reflexes of contemporaneity in the understanding of being. The study is interspersed between novels and short stories that address the fragmentation of man in the face of social, economic, cultural, political transformations and existential issues such as fear, freedom, relentless pursuits, life, death and loneliness, recurring themes that become a mosaic Dickean in which the characters' sayings expand in the space of language and draw a map of the feelings and sensations of being and being in the world. Through the (mis)paths of Ricardo Guilherme Dicke's narrative, the problematization of aspects between tradition, modernity, space, time, imagination and reality will be established with the way the author reads and sees loneliness. The discussions will have as theoretical support the scholars Octávio Paz (1976), Norbert Elias (1998), Maurice Blanchot (2011), Gaston Bachelard (2000), (2010), among others that we deem necessary to compose the corpus of this research.
