RESUMO:

Knowledge of human physiology is extremely important for a better understanding of oneself, the functioning of the human body and the interactions between systems to promote the individual's well-being. With the aim of better understanding the functions of the human urinary and circulatory systems, this research project proposed the elaboration of two Investigative Didactic Sequences (SDIs) that had as their starting point the study of the benefits of medicinal plants for the urinary and circulatory systems. circulatory. The SDIs were planned to encourage research-based teaching, encouraging student protagonism and autonomy. This encouragement leads them to active participation, such as, for example, carrying out research with family members and acquaintances through questionnaires and interviews. The objective was to identify the most used plants in the region and the specific purposes for their use. The proposal encompasses carrying out experiments and bibliographical research with the aim of establishing connections between the properties of the plants under study and their influence on the functioning of the urinary and circulatory systems. The SDIs designed are intended to encourage debate among students and disseminate the plants most used by the population through folders, with an emphasis on their therapeutic properties and the correct method of preparation for use in the urinary and circulatory systems. The SDIs produced were compiled into an e-book as a product of the Master's Completion Work.
