RESUMO:

Biology teaching, especially in high school zoology content, has been a great challenge to work efficiently. Thinking about this situation, I develop my TCM in order to create a pleasant learning environment, which motivates the student to arouse interest in the study. Therefore, this study aims to provide students with the opportunity to build biology knowledge focused on fish ecology. The investigative approach will be used. Investigative teaching is an approach that promotes questioning, planning, choosing evidence, evidence-based explanations and communication, while teaching by investigation means making a move to bring scientific knowledge closer to school knowledge, thus guiding the activity. of the apprentice rather than his passivity. That is, it is not a practice in which students learn on their own, only by observing the facts with limited interpretations, nor a practice that leaves aside the active construction of knowledge through dialogue and discussions and without concern for the student you know. With this in mind, students are engaged in problem solving through the collection, recording, organization and interpretation of data and information on taxonomic, morphological and ecological aspects of fish from the Pari River, municipality of Alto Paraguai, state of Mato Grosso. With this, high school students can elaborate explanations that answer research questions, discuss them and evaluate them against the available explanations, mobilizing scientific concepts and confronting them with their previous knowledge. Students will develop qualitative research, using books and bibliographic sources available electronically (academic google, dissertations and theses bank, among others) for research on fish species existing in the Pari river and their eating habits, following a didactic sequence pre- determined. Two proposals will be presented to be developed in two groups, where each group will make a possible ecological relationship from the food relationships between species. All steps of the didactic sequence will be recorded through photos and videos, which will make up the illustrated informative manual containing that will serve as a guide for identifying the species and describing the ecological relationships from the dental morphology of the species. With these activities, student protagonism is expected during the didactic sequences in order to enable learning about ecology contents, especially about the fishes of the Pari river, an important tributary of the Paraguai river which is the main water body of the Pantanal Mato -grossense
