RESUMO:

The teaching of Physiology of the Respiratory System demands teaching materials that motivate teachers and involve the active participation of students. Thus, the objective of this project is to develop as a final product a guide for the teacher with a methodological strategy containing an investigative didactic sequence and a Roleplaying game (RPG) with the theme of teaching Respiratory System Physiology. seeking to apply teaching by investigation. The didactic sequence and the RPG game will be developed from a climb to Mount Everest involving the challenges of respiratory physiology at high altitudes and with the search for solutions to problems to survive the climb. The characters and scenarios will all be described by the author so that the role-playing of the RPG can occur with more reality. In addition, the game's story will involve other topics of interest, such as global warming . The evaluation of the role-playing game as a teaching strategy for Physiology of the Respiratory System will take place in the classroom, according to the participation and involvement of the students, using, for this purpose, the participant observation methodology. In addition, at the end of the game, students will be encouraged to build a comic book telling the story of their character and the development based on the knowledge built with the game. From the results observed in the application of the didactic sequence and the RPG game, a guide will be created so that the teacher can apply them in a remote or in-person classroom in the form of a didactic sequence using the investigative method. It is expected that the teacher's guide with the investigative didactic sequence and the RPG game will serve as a playful and investigative methodological strategy for learning Respiratory System Physiology.
