GUIDE TO MAKING A RECIPE BOOK COMMENTED ON: TEACHING AND LEARNING STRATEGY OF PHYSIOLOGY OF THE DIGESTORY SYSTEM

The present work is a qualitative research in which we will seek to offer a methodological strategy for high school teachers to teach Physiology of the Digestive System. From the elaboration of a Guide for the Elaboration of a Commented Cookbook for teachers, we seek to provide better conditions for students to learn, encouraging the use of the investigative method, making them protagonists in learning the Physiology content of the Digestive System. The Commented Cookbook Preparation Guide will feature an investigative didactic sequence and additional information for teachers. The didactic sequence will cover the concepts of how food is transformed within the digestive tract, as well as the digestion and absorption of nutrients. At the end of the application of the didactic sequence to be elaborated and proposed in the guide, it will be possible for each teacher to prepare a personalized Recipe Book for the class. In this project, the product generated "Guide for the Preparation of the Commented Cookbook" will be evaluated through a reflection of the High School teachers on the feasibility of the product and the proposed didactic sequence will be applied in the classroom with 3rd year students from high school in a public school in the State of Mato Grosso during the year 2021. This research will be relevant in the field of teaching biology, as we understand that the approach elaborated in the guide will enable the student to take a leading role in their learning process.
