RESUMO:

The corn crop has been gaining importance every year and has ceased to be just an off-season crop to become an essential source of income for the economic gain of the producer. In the search for new technologies to improve the productivity of the culture, the use of micronutrients, such as Molybdenum, and the use of microorganisms that promote growth, such as the funds of the genus Trichoderma, have been sought. The search for more sustainable technologies in agriculture involves verifying their impact on the soil and microbial activity has been used as an indicator of impacts of cultivation systems on the soil. The research was conducted in the field at the Ke Soja Farm in the municipality of Sapezal - MT, in the 2021 harvest, with the purpose of evaluating the use of different doses of Molybdenum with and without the use of Trichoderma in corn and the impact of these on the soil microbiota. The design used was randomized blocks, in a 4 x 2 + 1 factorial scheme, with 3 replications for each treatment. The treatments were composed by the combination of 4 doses of Mo (105, 210, 315 and 420 g of Mo ha-1) with and without Trichoderma and an additional control treatment without the application of Mo and Trichoderma. The following characteristics were evaluated: plant height, ear insertion height, stem diameter, length, diameter and number of rows of grains per ear, weight of 100 grains, yield, chlorophyll A, B and total contents. No significant difference was observed between Mo doses for all variables studied. Regarding ear diameter, there was a difference between the levels of factors and the control, with all levels of factors being higher than the control. Regarding grain yield and chlorophyll B content, the application of Trichoderma was superior to the non-application.
