RESUMO:

Forage is the cheapest food that can be supplied to ruminant animals, but its production is affected in months of low

rainfall and light. Currently, Brazil has a very expressive commercial herd, as well as the number of heads slaughtered

per year, so the effluent production by the slaughterhouses (not only cattle but also poultry) is quite significant. This

study aimed to quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate different species of forage grasses subjected to irrigation with

mixed effluent from a poultry and cattle slaughterhouse, considering the production of Leaves, Stems, Senescent

Material, among other variables, as well as to evaluate them qualitatively, appreciating levels of Crude Protein,

Insoluble Fibers in Neutral Detergent and Acid, Mineral Matter and Ethereal Extract. The quality of the effluent that

the grasses received was also evaluated, verifying attributes such as Bicarbonate, Calcium, Magnesium, Chlorides,

Sodium, Potassium, Total Nitrogen, Total Phosphorus, Total Solids, pH, Electrical Conductivity, Sodium Adsorption

Ratio and GHF Hardness and the water mud applied via collectors installed in the area. The collected data were

submitted to the Shapiro Wilk test, compared through Analysis of Variance and Tukey Test at 5% probability.
