RESUMO:

The present research aims to investigate the relationship between Environmental Education (EE) and the area of Environmental Sciences (CACiAmb) in theses and dissertations that investigated the environmental theme and the educational process produced in graduate programs in the area of Environmental Sciences. of CAPES inserted in the Pantanal, Amazon and Cerrado Biomes. To achieve this objective, a state-of-the-art survey was carried out. The identification of the Programs was carried out through the Sucuipira platform, while the searches for research reports were carried out in the Bank of Theses and Dissertations in Environmental Education (BT&D/EA) of the EArte Project, by the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). ), through the CAPES Theses and Dissertations Catalog, and finally, a search was carried out on the websites of each program, in order to refine the searches. From the descriptors "environmental education", "dialogue of knowledge", "perception" and "ethnoknowledge", 528 researches were identified, after reading the abstracts, 485 theses and dissertations were selected that really problematized the environmental theme and the educational process. Of the total of 485 works, 110 were excluded from this investigation because their complete versions were not available. In this sense, 375 researches were selected to constitute the documentary corpus of this thesis. Data interpretation took place through categorical analysis. 53 doctoral theses and 322 are master's dissertations, of which 219 are academic master's and 103 professional master's. The states with the highest production were Amazonas and Pará respectively. As for the year of publication of these researches, it was found that they were defended in the periods from 2002 to 2021. Regarding the administrative dependence of where the programs are linked, there was a predominance of public institutions, totaling 326 research reports, divided into 279 at the federal level and 47 at the state level and, finally, 49 productions from private institutions.
