RESUMO:

This doctoral work, produced within the Graduate Program in Linguistics (PPGL) at the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), Cáceres campus (MT), and framed within the research line "studies of discursive processes", addresses an analysis of the strategies for formulating and disseminating discourses within the political, social, and media phenomenon known as Bolsonarism. Through the lens of French Discourse Analysis (FDA), the central objective is to investigate both the statements of supporters and the discourses of Jair Messias Bolsonaro himself, as well as the discursive memories and interdiscourses mobilized in the strategies of expression. In this work, Bolsonarism is framed in the perspective of Michel Pêcheux as a discursive event. The study explores the relationship between Bolsonarism and fascism, highlighting that fascism is an object of investigation addressed by various disciplines, such as History, Philosophy, Law, and Linguistics. The phenomenon of fascism, present in 20th-century politics, finds a new expression in Bolsonarism, which employs discursive strategies similar to those historically associated with figures like Salgado, Salazar, and Mussolini. Strategies such as leader worship, exacerbated nationalism, and anti-communist discourse are identified in the utterances of Bolsonaro and his supporters. The analysis commences by reflecting on the discursive production conditions of Bolsonarism, considering not only recent events but also political-party events of the last two decades. Subsequently, it delves into the notion of ideology and employs analytical tools derived from it.
