RESUMO:

This research aims to raise a closer look at the conception of the body's immanence in relation to the mind during the formal learning process. To do so, I decided to analyze my own experience as a training teacher who has been working for years in the discipline of Supervised Internship of the Language course at UNEMAT, in the area of English. In order to tread a path contrary to the conception of transcendence of the mind defended by modern philosophy and the various sciences, I carry out a theoretical trajectory with researchers of modernity and postmodernity who defend the idea that the mind is inherently embodied and that we constitute ourselves by affection and not only by intellect. Among these researchers, I highlight some in the field of language, such as Amsler (2001), Cole (2008), Anwarrudin (2015), Mills (2016), because they defend a type of literacy that takes into account affective relationships and bodily sensations in students' interactions with the various texts that permeate the classroom. Furthermore, I base myself on the conceptions of affection proposed by Spinoza because his ideas oppose Descartes' concept of transcendence. In order to analyze the various variations of affection present in the work I carried out with the twelve students of the Internship discipline of the class of 2018/1 and 2018/2, I make use of the qualitative research methodology under the bias of affectivity and assume some characteristics of the autoethnography because this is a research approach in which it allows me to use the reports produced by the internship students to be able to analyze my own experience in this event. In the face of such research, I verified the different moments in which the cycle of affections, combined with the intellect, influenced the performance and pedagogical practice of trainee students during their performances in the classroom. Although such affections were unnoticed by me, as a training teacher during the period of the internship, the rereading of the reports and some epiphanies made me realize that the affections were decisive both in enhancing and, at other times, in repressing a potential flow of learning on the part of trainee students and their students at campus schools.
