This research is part of the Studies of Discourse Processes line of research by the Postgraduate Program in Linguistics (PPGL) of the University of Mato Grosso - UNEMAT, and it is affiliated to the French Materialist Discourse Analysis (constituted by Michel Pêcheux, disseminated in Brazil by Eni Orlandi and other researchers) and it aims to understand the effects of the meaning of the statement "not him" spread over the social networks. Therefore, for this process, we want to understand the effects of meaning among interlocutors, in the face of ideological positions in the period of the 2018's elections, constituted in/by the sociohistorical context, taken by the exteriority of language in the production of meanings for the individual. The reading gestures of the enunciation "not him", for Bolsonaro, produced other sayings and other meanings. These discursive issues allowed us to analyze how the individual means it and resignifies it in the face of the conditions of production, crossed by the discursive network. We are interested in understanding the statement "not him" as a discursive event, producing different meanings in circulation in the media. With this, we want to see Bolsonaro's discourse inscribed in a discursive memory, configuring possibilities of the return of meanings. To this end, we organize the corpus in material extracted from digital newspapers that put into circulation Bolsonaro's statements. Thus, we show the displacement/slippage that the utterance suffers within a discursive formation: the utterance 'yes him' for Bolsonaro stems from the functioning of sense substitution/metaphorical effect, which has its entry through language, being constitutive in its ambiguity in a given sociohistorical context and, above all, to give the possibility for the sense to displace/slippage by the process of substitution/transference. Our analyses distinguish the ideological positions of the subject who enunciates "not him", from the position of the subject Bolsonaro. Therefore, the production of meaning is constituted by the ideological process/identification between the subject-interlocutors in circulation in social networks.
