This study is part of the research line Studies of Discursive Processes by the Postgraduation Program in Linguistics (PPGL) at the Universidade do Estado de Mato - UNEMAT, it is affiliated with the French materialist Discourse Analysis constituted by M. Pêcheux and disseminated in Brazil by Eni Orlandi; and aims to understand the meaning effects of the statement “ele não” to Bolsonaro, circulating on social networks. Therefore, for this process, we want to understand the effects’ functioning of the meaning between the interlocutors, given the ideological positions in the period of the 2018 elections, constituted in/by the socio-historical context, taken by the language exteriority in the production of meanings for the subject. In this way, the reading gestures of the statement “ele não” to Bolsonaro produced sayings, such discursive questions will allow us to analyze how the subject means and re-signifies in the face of the production conditions, crossed by the discursive network. We are interested in understanding the statement “ele não” to Bolsonaro, as a discursive event, from the perspective of Pêcheux (2015), who converges the statement as a discursive fusion. Above all, how the discourse produces different sayings in circulation in the media; with this, we want to see Bolsonaro's speech, which is inscribed in a discursive memory, configuring the possibility of a return of sayings/meanings. In this sense, we want to analyze the displacement/slippage, in which the statement “ele não” can be another within a discursive formation, for example, the statement “ele sim” to Bolsonaro. Hence the interest in understanding the substitution functioning of metaphorical meaning/effect, which has its entrance through language, being constitutive in its ambiguity in a given socio-historical context, above all, giving the possibility for meaning to shift/slip through the process of substitution/transfer of meanings. Our analysis distinguish the ideological positions of the subject who enunciates “ele não”, from the position of the subject Bolsonaro; therefore, the meanings production are constituted by the ideological/identification process between the subject-interlocutors in circulation in social networks. Thus, we want to discursively read the meanings of the material of the corpus of five analysis of statements, the “ele não” and other statements by Bolsonaro in circulation.
