ESTATUÁRIA URBANA, ESPAÇOS DE ENUNCIAÇÃO E SENTIDOS
Semântica do Acontecimento “Semantics of Event”, urban statuary, enunciation spaces, articulation, argumentation, meanings.
This research intends to identify the meanings of three artistic works that constitute the urban statuary of the space of enunciation of the Portuguese language of Portugal and the Brazilian Portuguese language. As corpus we will consider two works (considering the non-verbal and the utterances) which were built in Portugal, in the cities of Porto and Viana do Castelo, and the last which was built in Brazil, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Thus, in the position of semanticists, we will try to understand language as a relation of meanings, which include the materiality of the language, the history and the subject that enunciates. For this research, we opted for the Semântica do Acontecimento “Semantics of Event” of Guimarães (2002, 2011, 2018), which states that the analysis of the meaning of language should be located in the observation of the enunciation, the event of speech. Therefore, the analyses were conducted under the enunciative perspective in which the enunciation is taken as the place that produces signification. We also consider that relevant and necessary for this research, the theoretical and methodological studies developed by Dias (2010, 2011, 2013) and Karim (2012, 2013).
