This study is part of the line of Studies on Discursive Processes, of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Linguistics at the Mato Grosso State University (PPGL/UNEMAT). We take Discourse Analysis as a theoretical device for reflection and analysis articulated with the History of Linguistic Ideas-HIL, to understand the functioning of authorship and marks of the deaf subject in literary productions printed on Brazilian sign language, produced together with hearing subjects. These productions, despite being meaningful, are not properly deaf authorship. Until then, it is noted that the authorship of the literary instruments produced in Brazilian sign language was directed mostly by hearing writers, who took on the responsibility of building the specific linguistic knowledge of that language, which was configured to the few, except in some printed literary narratives, which had the participation of deaf subjects. In this way, the research points to the hypothesis that the presence of the listener may be a necessary condition for the deaf to constitute themselves as authors, as a result of the crossing between Portuguese and Brazilian Sign Language. In order to understand the constitution of the authorship between deaf and hearing subjects, we organized as a research corpus an archive composed of printed literary works that we organized from two moments: a) Deaf Cinderella (HESSEL; ROSA; KARNOPP (2003a), Deaf Rapunzel (SILVEIRA; ROSA; KARNOPP , 2003b), Adam and Eve (KARNOPP; ROSA, 2005a) and Duckling deaf (KARNOPP; ROSA, 2005b) and b) Santa's magic gloves (KLEIN; MOURÃO, 2012) and The Christmas stars (KLEIN; STROBEL, 2015).The analysis of the corpus allowed us to understand, at first, that hearing and deaf subjects share the authorship in the work, about sign language. In this, it can be seen that the position of deaf subject author is not formulated in its entirety, there is a crossing of the speech, formulated by the listener and materialized in the language, the speech written/translated in sign language to written Portuguese language, based on the from literary classics for listeners, but being reformulated/adapted to a literature on Brazilian sign language. Now, in a second moment, the deaf and hearing subjects, together, start to produce their literary discourses. We realize that this joint work justifies the need to legitimize signed texts or written by deaf subjects. This is because the writing of texts by deaf subjects is configured in a second language condition, and for these written texts to be legitimized and subsequently published, the presence of hearing subjects in the works is necessary in order to validate the writing of this linguistic instrument. We realize that hearing subjects and deaf subjects are inscribed in two distinct discursive formations, which are necessary for the author subject to position himself as the author of their literary works.
