This work, inscribed in the research line of Significance Processes Studies of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Linguistics of the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), aims to is the study of the SE adverb as a marker of enunciative operations. To this end, we base the development of the research on the proposal of Antoine Culioli, mentor of the Theory of Predicative and Enunciative Operations (CULIOLI, 1990, 1999a, 1999b). We propose, in this direction, to observe the processes of construction of meaning to SE arising from linguistic term interactions with others. In this case, we show the operations performed during the stabilisation of meaning with SE. We move away, in this case, from language static analysis approaches. Before, we seek to seize the statement marks, including SE, as a result of the representation construction process. To this end, we set up a corpus collected from electronic Portuguese Corpus. The methodology was based on the redraft activity, also called glossing or paraphrase (FRANCKEL, 2011; FUCHS, 1985). By means of the redraft procedures we were able to sketch a metalinguistic representation system for the functioning of SE in which we tried to emphasize the hypothesis that reflexivity in language is not exclusive to SE, although it may sometimes seem like it. We noticed that the assertive marks that dialogue in the transitivity circuit (causality) sometimes confirm or not the stability of the value.
