In this research we propose to analyze from the perspective of the theory of the Semantics of Enunciation / Event, theory developed by Guimarães (2002, 2004, 2017, 2018) the designation of ruins of Vila Bela da Santíssima Trindade in texts taken from the internet that constitute the set of Mato Grosso state media. At the beginning, we present a study in which we highlight the political and social extract of the city of Vila Bela da Santíssima Trindade and following some historical events that marked the enunciative history that resulted in the church's construction being listed as a space of memory and history duly registered as material heritage. and Brazilian cultural. Next, we highlight a brief theoretical path on which we rely for the analytical process of this work and in the analysis chapter we highlight some excerpts duly selected to analyze the process of designating ruins in texts available on the Mato Grosso social network.
