RESUMO:

The main objective of this work is to show he effects of senses around happiness are historically constituted in lyrics of country songs composed in different periods, considering the conditions of production and the positions of subject in their relations with the discursive memory, that is, under the theoretical perspective of the analysis of French line discourse, coined by Pêcheux. The corpus of analysis was composed of four lyrics of country music, two from the country yokel, one from the country love and one from the country university. For the discursive analysis, we follow a historical-social path of the constitution of the country music, focusing on the relationship of the lyrics of country music with its exteriority and observing the positions of the subjects in relation to the discursive memory and discursive formations. For this, it was fundamental to consider the discursive constitution of the interpreters and country, as well as their ideological formations, relating them to the images of the subjects represented in the lyrics of songs analyzed. In addition, it was also important to relate the lyrics of the country songs chosen to historical-social events of the periods in which the compositions were made. Consequently, relating language, subject and history we analyze the constitution of the effect of the sense of happiness in the country songs, romantic and university seeking to observe the representativity of the discourse of the brazilian in the country music and with the study of this discursive representation we observe, because, the country man brazilian speaking and meaning in the world. As a result, in the discursive analysis of the lyrics of selected songs, we realize that throughout the historical-social process through which the country music went through, many were the changes suffered by the subjects represented in it, as well as the sense effects of the discourses produced by them. Regarding the sense of happiness, we observe that in the first letter of music, the sense of happiness for the rural subject represented is linked to the countryside, while for the urban subject represented in the same song it refers to ostentation; for the subject represented in the second letter of music, the sense of happiness is also related to the countryside; in the third letter of music, the sense of happiness is linked to love; and in the last letter of music, the sense of happiness is the resumed of ostentation. At this juncture, anchored in the discursive memory of the rustic, romantic and university subject, the senses take up what has already been said, resignify, differentiate and update them.
