RESUMO:

This project was produced from the studies carried out in the Professional Master's Program in Letters - PROFLETRAS, offered by the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), Cáceres Campus - MT. The project will be developed in a class of 21 students, from the 8th grade of Elementary School in the morning, in the subject of Portuguese Language, at the State School Verena Leite de Brito, located in the municipality of Vila Bela da Santíssima Trindade-MT. Based on the theoretical assumptions of Discourse Analysis, based on the studies of Pêcheux, Orlandi and other scholars in the area, we aim to work on reading/writing/rewriting, creating conditions for students to be able to (re)signify them, having access to the verbal and to the non-verbal, that is, to the various significant materialities. It is about promoting a shift in the meanings crystallized in/by the school, moved by the pedagogical discourse, to take them discursively, in process, since Discourse Analysis points to other ways of reading, to other listening, to the production of other meanings . With regard to rewriting, Orlandi (2023) says that “It is by rewriting that the student faces the incompleteness of the senses and the opening of the text. Reading, writing, rewriting function intertwined. These functionings gave us clues to work with the argumentation, so rejected in High School. Not the one commonly seen in schools, which prioritizes persuasion, consensus, but argumentation from the perspective of Discourse Analysis, which “is supported by the mechanism of anticipation, functioning through imaginary relations” (ORLANDI, 2021), ideologically structured. To do so, we will mobilize the concepts of discourse, subject and ideology, conditions of production, interdiscourse/intradiscourse, paraphrase and polysemy, argumentation, authorship. With this work, we hope that students occupy the subject-author position of their sayings and that the school-institution becomes a space for authorial manifestations.
