RESUMO:

This dissertation work is part of the research line Teacher Training, Policies and Pedagogical Practices, of the Postgraduate Program in Education - PPGEdu – Master's in Education, offered at the State University of Mato Grosso – UNEMAT, university campus of Cáceres /MT, whose research object is the Initial Training of the Teacher who teaches Mathematics in the initial years of Elementary School at UNEMAT/Cáceres. The research question is: How does the initial training curriculum for pedagogues prepare them to teach Mathematics in the initial years of Elementary School, from the perspective of students and teachers who train the Full Degree in Pedagogy course, offered at UNEMAT/Cáceres? The general objective is to understand the articulation of specific and pedagogical knowledge of Mathematics training for the initial years of elementary school in the initial training curriculum of pedagogues, from the perspective of students and teachers. ) of Pedagogy at UNEMAT/Cáceres. The research methodology has a qualitative approach, characterized as a Case Study with Research-training strategies. In this sense, bibliographic research and documentary analysis were used as methodological procedures. Field research procedures were also used, through conversation circles and questionnaires. The locus of the research is the Full Degree course in Pedagogy, at the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), University Campus “Jane Vanini”, in the municipality of Cáceres-MT. The subjects participating in the research are organized into two groups, namely: those of the teachers who train the Pedagogy course who are involved with Mathematics training and responsible for the subjects of Mathematics Contents and Methodologies for the Beginning of Schooling I and II and Supervised Curricular Internships and students in the last spheres of training (7th and 8th) of the same course. Como instrumentos de produção de dados, utilizou-se um questionário que subsidiou a constituição do perfil dos participantes e rodas de conversas com ambos os grupos de participantes, aos quais possibilitaram a produção de conhecimentos sobre o processo de formação Matemática inicial do(a) Pedagogo(a). Os dados foram organizados em eixos/categorias, com base no referencial teórico adotado e na aplicação da técnica de análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin (2016). Espera-se que que a pesquisa contribua para a formação inicial dos(as) professores(as) que ensinam Matemática nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental e de forma a movimentar o currículo no interior dessa licenciatura pelos estudantes e docentes participantes na pesquisa.
