The present dissertation, entitled Pedagogy of Associated Work and Rural Education in the Quilombola Community of São Benedito Poconé-MT, enrolled in the Education and Diversity research line, of the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGEdu - UNEMAT), aims to general understand how in Rural Education, the knowledge of Associate work produced in the experience of the farinheira São Benedito is interconnected in the curriculum when conducting teaching in the 8th and 9th year classes of elementary school at the Antônio Maria de Almeida Municipal School. The research methodology focuses on epistemological references from a historical-dialectic (HD) perspective, based on qualitative research, of a bibliographic, documentary, field nature, specifically with action research. The research instruments were conversation circles, questionnaires, interviews and participant observation. Regarding the characterization of the community, 24 students, 12 members of the association and 02 educators who teach in the classes studied responded to the questionnaire. The conversation circle was organized with the participation of association members. Five educators, 12 members of the association, and 12 8th and 9th year students participated in the interviews. 24 students participated in the dialogued class. The data produced was interpreted based on content analysis. We found that the school community represented by parents, students and members of the association does not participate in the construction of the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP), which is built by education professionals, under the guidance of the municipal education department. The dialogues promoted understanding of the need for community involvement in discussions and the school's pedagogical construction. In relation to work, we evidence that peasants work collectively, organized based on the concept of associated work, which represents an alternative for promoting good living, cooperation and solidarity. We highlight the need for reflections in relation to the curriculum and pedagogical practices developed in the rural school as a way of articulating the knowledge of the work experience associated with the school curriculum. We understand that structuring educational activities based on the principles of Rural Education has been an approach that educators at the institution have considered, but has not yet been widely incorporated into pedagogical practices in a significant way.
