RESUMO:

This research, entitled “PNAIC: Narratives of Training and Performance of Literacy Teachers in the Municipality of Juara/MT”, is linked to the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program, Master in Education (PPGEdu), Line of research: Teacher Training, Pedagogical Policies and Practices of UNEMAT, Campus Cáceres/MT. Its general objective was to understand, from the reports of the literacy teachers who participated in the training offered by the PNAIC in the period from 2013 to 2018, about their experiences of training, performance and pedagogical practices in order to analyze whether in these reports reverberate conceptual and methodological orientations oriented, recommended and encouraged by the aforementioned Program. qualitative methodological approach, used as procedures: bibliographical research; document analysis; questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The elaboration of the theoretical sections was anchored in bibliographical sources on the theme in question. The subjects of the field research were eight literacy teachers from public schools in Juara-MT, who agreed to grant interviews via google meet. For the analysis of the interviews, the narratives were organized into categories, based on the methodological guidelines of Content Analysis. The PNAIC established itself as an important continuing education policy for achieving the learning objectives for each development phase, by providing reflective training on the curriculum, assessment instruments and the Organization of Pedagogical Work (OTP). The Program aimed to contribute to the practices of the literacy teacher, from the perspective of literacy, in an interdisciplinary way, through meaningful learning. In this sense, the final considerations of the research indicate from the narratives of the literacy teachers, that the methodologies proposed by the Program were incorporated into the pedagogical practices, even after the end of the training, as reported by the interviewed teachers . This time, the contributions of the interviewees reiterate the scope of the PNAIC for the continuing education of literacy teachers.
