This dissertation was developed in the Postgraduate Program in Education of the University of the State of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), in the line of research Teacher Training, Pedagogical Policies and Practices, linked to the Research Group on Access and Permanence in Higher Education (GPAPES ) from UNEMAT. The main theme is to investigate, from the perspective of the university professor, what changes have occurred in their pedagogical practice with the use of digital technologies in remote teaching (including the clipping of the COVID-19 Pandemic). University teaching is a social practice and has its specificities, with few legal contributions that guide the need for specific training for higher education teachers. We have as a research problem: do teaching practices in remote teaching interfere with the permanence of students in higher education? In which we take as the main objective of the investigation To analyze from the perception of the investigated teachers whether the teaching activities developed in the course contribute to the permanence of students in higher education. The study reflects on the use of digital technologies in remote teaching with an emphasis on training and activities in University Teaching, having as main contributions the authors: Shulman, Nóvoa, Cunha, Moran, Luckesi, Pérez Gómez. This is a research with a qualitative approach, of a descriptive nature, of the case study type. The methodological procedures were carried out in five stages, of which we used: 1) balance of scientific production, 2) bibliographic review, 3) document analysis, 4) data collection and 5) data analysis, in which we seek to analyze the legislation relevant to the training of university professors, of the bachelor's degree in question and of UNEMAT itself. The data collection instruments were: the teacher characterization questionnaire, elaborated in Google Forms and complemented by the semi-structured interview. For content analysis we based ourselves on Bardin (2006), with pre-established and emerging categories to the research data and using the NVivo12 software to build more frequent word clouds. The subjects of the research were the permanent and contracted teaching bachelors of the Accounting Sciences course, in effective exercise in the academic semester 2021/2, assigned to the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences. The research universe had seventeen subjects called BDCCs. From the analysis of the collected data, emphasizing the formation, the activities developed in the course and if these provided the permanence of the students, we can see that the BDCCs, are in constant formation, seeking innovations and improvements in their educational practices, carry out the formation in the specific areas, in which they report having contributed and helped in the professional development of teachers. We found that all teachers seek to make use of technologies, however, in this cut of remote teaching, we found that little training was carried out to adapt to this new scenario. Finally, we point out that remote teaching generated some difficulties in the teaching process of the researched subjects.
