RESUMO:

This research aims to understand the intercultural relations and pedagogical practices of Ethnomathematics carried out in the Attached Rooms of the Conquista D'Oeste State School and the Nutajensu Municipal School within the Sararé Village with the Katitaurlu people. It was developed within a qualitative and phenomenological approach, with listening and conversation circles. The research collaborators are the teachers working in the classroom, indigenous leaders and students. It was observed through the research that the Katitaurlu people maintain their identity and culture in a valued and experienced way within the village; that the indigenous municipal school and the adjoining rooms of the state school are achievements of the people through intercultural negotiations. There is a desire to strengthen a curriculum that meets the needs of the Katitaurlu people. It is identified that the curriculum is in constant transformation and it is a challenge that the mathematical ethno-knowledge is worked effectively in the school space. It was possible to identify mathematical concepts present in the people's art, painting and technologies, they are present in several spaces, being them school or in the living spaces and coexistence of the Katitaurlu people.
