RESUMO:

This dissertation is part of the line of research on Teacher Training, Pedagogical Policies and Practices, of the Graduate Program in Education - PPGEdu - Masters in Education, at the Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso - UNEMAT, whose main theme is Pedagogy. University with emphasis on the perceptions of Basic Education teachers, masters trained by PPGEdu/UNEMAT. We are guided by the theoretical assumptions of Marcelo García (1999; 2009), Tardif (2014), Tardif and Lessard (2014), Bitencourt (2014; 2017), among others, to reflect on the University Pedagogies of Master Teachers of Basic Education (EB) in the exercise of teaching in the year 2020 and their perceptions about the importance of University Pedagogies experienced at PPGEdu for their professional development and performance in EB. The research question is configured in: What are the perceptions of Basic Education teachers, masters graduated from PPGEdu/UNEMAT/Cáceres, about the relationship between University Pedagogy experienced in their postgraduate training and their professional development after returning to Basic Education? understand the perceptions of basic education teachers about the relationship between university pedagogy in stricto sensu postgraduate studies and their professional development after returning to basic education. It is a research with a qualitative approach, in which we use the procedures of bibliographic, documentary and field research.  The data production instruments were a characterization questionnaire and a semi-structured interview with 10 teachers of Basic Education, effective in the State of Mato Grosso, trained in undergraduate and masters courses in Education by PPGEdu/UNEMAT. For categorization and analysis of empirical data, we used the technique of content analysis, according to Bardin (2016). Through this study, it is concluded that University Pedagogy, characterized by the training and research environment of the PPGEdu/UNEMAT master's course, favors EB professors to re-signify their knowledge and weave relationships between the theory experienced and investigated, at this stage of training, and their teaching practice. Therefore, the Masters in Education at UNEMAT becomes relevant for the Professional Development of the EB teacher, but it is necessary to institute and strengthen public policies, at the federal and state levels, to encourage EB teachers to seek professional qualification at this level of education. Thus, with the end of this research, we intend to enable the expansion of knowledge about University Pedagogy, as well as intensify the discussion about the importance of public policies aimed at the training of Basic Education teachers.
