RESUMO:

Our research project seeks to understand about the “Waldorf Pedagogy: how its curriculum influences the cognitive development of students from 9 to 10 years old and how this pedagogical practice can raise the intellectual capacity of the student who will collaborate to greater autonomy and development of the student's individuation process.[RR1] This is a qualitative research, having as epistemological approach the Hermeneutic Phenomenology, with bibliographical and documentary research, with application of semi-structured interviews and field observation, to collect the data that will be understood through the reports and manifestations of the research subjects. The methodology used comes from the author Rudolf Steiner through his phenomenological line, Anthroposophy and Waldorf Pedagogy, including the dialogue with authors of the same approach as well as authors of other lines of thought [RR2] that contribute to the understanding of the theme developed. We hope that the research results contribute to the understanding of how the practice of the Waldorf curriculum, the experience lived among students who cross the age of 09 to 10 years, can collaborate in the student's cognitive development and in their individuation process for a development with greater autonomy.
