RESUMO:

Continuous teacher education is a process of constant search for new knowledge, updates, ways, methods and means aimed at improving the teacher to improve teaching practice, adapting to the dynamism of changes that occur in society, acquiring a critical view of reach of their pedagogical practices in the school environment. The research aimed to analyze, understand and describe the perceptions of physics teachers about their training needs regarding the use of Digital Technology Resources (RTD) in high school physics teaching at the state schools of Vilhena - RO. The methodological procedures used were the bibliographic research and the survey to be conducted with the research subjects will be the questionnaire to be applied via the Survey Monkey data collection and analysis system and for the data analysis will be used basic statistical analysis: analysis of the frequency and percentage. To support this research was analyzed the curricular projects of the Physics Degree courses of the higher education institutions in which the research participants graduated, to verify the curricular insertion of the use of RTD in the initial formation. The research sought to analyze teachers' perceptions of the formative needs for RTD use in the classroom, highlighting their limitations of use due to factors such as inadequate infrastructure, lack of training for RTD use and lack of mastery to deal with these resources. It is hoped that this work can contribute for teachers to understand the importance of continuing education in teacher qualification using RTD to improve teaching and learning.
