RESUMO:

The implementation of the Brazilian Law of Inclusion – LBI, No. 13,146/2015, establishes the duty of the Public Administration to adopt singular and plural measures that provide students with disabilities with access, permanence, participation and learning in the teaching units, according to their characteristics and interests. With the force of Law No. 14.19102021 that provides for the Bilingual Education of the deaf as a modality of independent education, with the use of Libras as a first language and written Portuguese as a second language, it was necessary to (re)think about the process of teaching and learning Chemistry for the full cognitive development of deaf students in the face of the inclusive didactic-technological aspects of Libras. This is because, Chemistry reveals itself with an astringent flavor among students, being considered as a complex and abstract area, which corroborates with the lack of signs in Libras. And the process of inclusion begins in the school environment, with the school emancipating and respecting the multiple knowledge and specific needs of each student. With the growing addition of digital technologies in education, mobile devices have become ubiquitous, such as smartphones, breaking epistemological paradigms about a more autonomous and meaningful teaching of Quimia, providing the usability of educational applications with pedagogical purposes in the process of inclusion and abstraction of students. Given this conjuncture, we aimed to develop and evaluate the usability of the TabLibras application in the teaching of chemical elements of the Periodic Table, together with the deaf community, chemistry teachers, translator and interpreters of Libras and listener. Thus, we seek to meet this objective, constituting the following guiding question: How can the use of a digital assistive technology, through a developed mobile application (TabLibras), contribute to the process of teaching and learning chemical elements of the Periodic Table to deaf students, listeners, Chemistry teachers and interpreters of libras, in the perspective of Inclusive Education? With a qualitative approach, the research had as initial procedure the investigative mapping and data analysis of scientific production in Google Scholar, SciELO, CAPES, BDTD, as well as in the applications in the Google Play Store that related the TD and TAD in the Teaching of Chemistry for the deaf in the period from 2017 to 2021, a time of great technological howitzer. In view of this, we developed a mobile application with animation of a humanoid avatar, "Liah", applied in the Blender program for use on the Android platform, through the IDE Android Studio with the Kotlin Language, with display of the interpretation of chemical elements in Libras. In addition, a semi-structured interview via Google Meet and the application of an online questionnaire in Microsoft Forms, with an interpreter and chemistry teacher, with three Chemistry teachers, three interpreters and translators of Libras, a deaf student and another listener, both active in the High School Stage in the public network of the municipalities of Barra do Bugres,  Campo Novo do Parecis, Nova Olímpia and Tangará da Serra – MT. In addition, we sequentially held a face-to-face meeting with an external group of five deaf people at the Municipal School 04 de Julho, in Campo Novo do Parecis – MT. The treatment of the data was carried out by the process of compilation of the information and the characteristics of the content analysis. From this, three categories of analysis emerged, namely: a) Potentialities of the Tab-Libras application as a didactic-technological resource in the process of teaching and learning chemical elements of the Periodic Table; ; b) Significant aspects in learning as a Digital Assistive Technology in Inclusive Education; c) Unfavorable aspects/suggestions for improvement in the Tab-Libras application as a learning object for the development of M-Learning in the classroom. The results of the analyses indicated the Tab-Libras prototype as an intelligent, innovative, affordable idea, easy to handle and install. In this sense, to provide a significant learning of deaf students, it is recommended that the inclusion be guided by Libras, since the use of digital assistive technologies can make it protagonist in the teaching and learning process, thus being able to traverse, autonomously, the multiple faces of interactive learning, being the teachers, primordial subjects in the insertion of this technological resource for the benefit of their classes and the and learning, especially of deaf students, who continue to deal with pedagogical obstacles about the skills and competencies of Chemistry.
