RESUMO:

The objective of this work was to study and understand the use of Just-in-Time Teaching (JiTT) and Peer Instruction (PI) teaching and learning methods with digital technologies in the teaching and learning process at Escola Estadual Ramom Sanches Marques with students of the 2nd year of high school, during the study of solutions, relations between solute and solution and density in the discipline of Chemistry. The Just-in-Time Teaching and Peer Instruction methods were used according to the students' learning needs, promoting change in the student and developing their autonomy; in addition to favoring the understanding of concepts when interacting with colleagues on the study of solutions, solute and solution relationships, it focuses on mass and density in Chemistry. The following methodological procedures were adopted: a qualitative approach with an exploratory action research approach and a case study characteristic. In order to conceive the action research, the association of the use of methodologies to solve a collective problem was narrowed, which in this case is the learning needs of chemistry students. For data processing, the inductive process is used, with unstructured observation, group discussion, evaluation of experiences, recording, interaction and introspection with the group. Data analysis was based on the Bardin perspective (2016) focused on the understanding and meaning of the group's actions. The results show that JiTT and IP through digital technologies contributed to the promotion of teaching and knowledge construction, providing dynamism in teaching. In addition, JITT and PI proved to be promising in the context of teaching Chemistry for providing the student with the construction of knowledge and autonomy. In this context, this study was of great importance for proposing to know the implications of the use of methods combined with technology in the interaction, improvement and student autonomy. We concluded that the JiTT and PI, when used in the teaching of Chemistry, were able to re-signify the teaching-learning process of students, favoring the construction of the necessary skills for the 2nd year.
