RESUMO:

The advances in digital technologies are part of everyday life in contemporany society, reaching the most varied age groups and social classes, contributing to the communication and interaction of people in different fields of knowledge, directly influencing the area of Education. Accompanied by this evolution, the inclusion of People with Disabilities - PwD affects pedagogical practices regarding assistive technologies. For deaf students, it is important that this inclusion is mediated by the Brazilian Sign Language - Libras, enabling the use of technological tools that involve all students, in an interactive and attractive way in learning. In this sense, this research aimed to develop a mobile application that addressed concepts and contents of Physics in Libras to assist in the interaction between deaf and hearing students. After verifying that the Physics textbooks did not present inclusive adaptations for the deaf, searches were made for academic and scientific works that related the teaching of Physics for the deaf. We selected the period from 2014 to 2019, a time of strong technological expansion and used the Bank of Theses and Dissertations of the Higher Education Personnel Improvement Commission - CAPES and the Google Scholar platform at this stage. Several works addressed teaching Physics and Libras, but in isolated ways. Then, we searched for mobile apps in the Google Play Store, which explored this theme in order to check what was available. 94 applications were identified involving sign language, 57 of which were Brazilian and 37 foreign, of which only one Brazilian application involved teaching Physics. In this way, we developed a mobile application for the Android platform, with a glossary of Physics in Libras using the Android Studio IDE with the Kotlin language. The interpretation of the terms in Libras is performed by a humanoid avatar with the characteristics suggested by the deaf community of the Municipal Center for Special Education in Tangara da Serra - MT. The animations of the interpretation of the terms were performed with the contribution of a Libras Interpreter and animated using the Blender program using the keyframe animation technique. After creating the prototype, we interviewed, via Google Meet, five physics teachers and six Libras interpreters who work in the public education network of the municipalities of Tangará da Serra and Nova Mutum in the state of Mato Grosso, to verify the potential applicability of the prototype created for the teaching of Physics and interaction of deaf and hearing students. After the orientation and installation of the application, the participants tested and analyzed the prototype for a week. Then, we held a new meeting, in which participants pointed out the relevance of using the FLibras application as a didactic-technological resource and considered that new applications of this modality need to be produced in different areas of knowledge, as they favor the approach not only between deaf students and listeners, but also enable interaction with the discipline's teacher. We also identified the possibility of the application providing support to the interpreters, regarding scientific terms in Libras and enabling the dissemination of these signs.
