PEDAGOGICAL STUDIES AND PROPOSALS IN TEACHING MATHEMATICS IN THE INITIAL YEARS IN THE CITY OF DENISE - MT: MEANINGS AND CHALLENGES IN CONTINUING TEACHER TRAINING

This study is the result of a research developed with the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching, of the State University of Mato Grosso - UNEMAT, Barra do Bugres Campus, based on the Continuing Education of Teachers who Teach Mathematics in the early years in public schools in the city of Denise (MT). With a qualitative approach, the main objective of this investigation is to propose teaching strategies through the continuous training of teachers who teach mathematics in the early years, aiming at contributing to the teaching and learning processes of this discipline in public schools in this municipality. Thus, we sought to answer the following question: How can the proposal for continuing education for teachers who teach mathematics in the early years, in the municipality of Denise (MT), contribute to the development of pedagogical practice and the expansion of the knowledge of student teachers ? Composed of 12 virtual meetings, of two hours each, and extra activities, the topics covered in the training included: Digital Technologies, Problem Solving, Studies of the Five Thematic Units of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) in the area of Mathematics, Active Methodologies, Ethnomathematics, The importance of Mathematics and Evaluation. In the formative meetings, Google Meet was used, a video communication service and the Google classroom for the participating teachers to insert the questionnaires, the activities proposed by the teacher teachers and the memories of the day, thus producing the material of analyze.
