RESUMO:

In vitro propagation and cultivation in nurseries and greenhouses are tools and propagation and proliferation of orchid species, the tissue culture technique is a widely used tool in laboratories and extremely important in the propagation of the species. The use of pyroligneous liquor is a viable alternative to the production and treatment of plants in vitro as it is a compound of water and organic compounds from plant material, the pyroligneous liquor comes from the carbonization of wood, so this work aims to evaluate the influence of different doses of pyroligneous liquor on the vegetative development of Catasetum sp., to analyze in vitro growth of Mormodes sp. with influence on the culture medium, and contribute to the cytogenetic growth of the Mormodes species, characterizing the genetic parameters and genetic diversity of the species, studying the possible influences of phytopathogens in its development. The experiment will be conducted at the Laboratory of Cytogenetics and Plant Tissue Culture at the State University of Mato Grosso Carlos Alberto Reyes Maldonado – Alta Floresta Campus – MT. Mormodes protocorms will be used, obtained from in vitro sowing in an alternative culture medium. The culture medium will be made in the Laboratory and autoclaved at 121°C for 20 minutes, with adjusted pH, and subsequent addition of sterilized pyroligneous liquor. The design used will be a completely randomized design, using protocorms of Mormodes sp., with 6 treatments (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 mL L-1 of pyroligneous liquor), with 5 replications analyzing 20 seedlings per treatment. In a greenhouse, 10 replicates of Catasetum sp. will be used, totaling 60 plants, with applications of pyroligneous liquor doses (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 mL L-1 ) every 15 days for a period of 6 months, evaluating aspects of vegetative development and resistance to pathogens.
