This master’s thesis aims to analyze the literary dialogues between the books Poemas Rupestres e Há Prendisajens com o Xão: o segredo húmido da lesma e outras descoisas, respectively written by Manoel de Barros and Ondjaki, in order to reach a deeper comprehension of the various manners brazilian and angolan Literatures relate to each other. The processes of lexical ressemanticization and the procedures of semantic renewal based on word formation phenomena are also to be studied in the works of both poets, such as the phonetical, phonological, morphological, syntatic and stilystic aspects that are present in the selected poems. The study of those characteristics is an effort towards the elucidation of the reflections provoked by the oppositions and approximations of the common elements in the works of the writers on the agenda, as well as the seek for a primordial age inside their I-lyricals and the non-human and undermost figures, which are widely present in their works. Thereby, the focus of this research is to explore poetry as a human matter’s voice expressed through the Portuguese Language literature and also the roles it plays.
