THE HISTORY OF UNEMAT AND ITS IMPACTS ON THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF UNIVERSITY TEACHERS AND MANAGERS: CONTRIBUTIONS OF UNIVERSITY PEDAGOGY
UNEMAT. Professional Development of University Professors; University Managers.
This research was developed in the Graduate Program in Education (PPGEdu) – Academic Masters in Education, at the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), in the line of research Teacher Training, Policies and Pedagogical Practices. The general objective is to analyze the impacts on the professional development of university professors who manage UNEMAT's institutional trajectory and as a problem question: To what extent does UNEMAT's institutional trajectory impact the professional development of university professors and managers between the years 1993 to 2022? This is a qualitative research, with an analytical character, based on the theoretical perspective of Oral History, in which we use bibliographical, documental and field research procedures. The locus of investigation is UNEMAT and the research subjects are university professors who have held the positions of Rector, Vice-Rector and Pro-rectors of the core activities (Teaching, Research and Extension) of that institution. For data collection we used questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Our research sample consisted of 14 teacher managers who participated in the interviews. With this research we intend to enable the expansion of knowledge about University Pedagogy in the relationship between the institutional development of UNEMAT.
